Why do so many liberals become moderates once an election comes around? Its like talk talk talk for four years and then back down once the moment of truth comes.
Vote for the candidate who supports your ideals, don't compromise for the lesser of two evils with a "chance of winning".

I'm really psyched on the new Defiance, Ohio record, even if everyone thinks its lame.
My bag got lost or stolen or whatever. Its a really shitty thing around finals time to lose all your books. Its a good excuse to get a new bag though.
I have to read eight books before 2008. Can I do it?

Election Update: Every candidate with a viable chance of winning is shit.
(especially the current leaders on each side [are there really two sides?])

Some interesting things going on:
One of my housemates moved out while I was sleeping the other night. My friend Alex had a gun pulled on him right down the street from our house. Actually I will tell the story of this as clear as I know it. Alex and my housemates Maia and Brianna were on the street. Maia was riding on Alex's handlebars and they saw a car coming so they pulled over. The dude in the car spit at them and Alex said "what the fuck?" The car stopped, backed up really fast and one of the dudes got out and was like "why you talkin shit huh huh blah blah blah" with a gun to Alex's head, then hit him with the gun, in the head. The dude's friend was like "Come on man chill out lets get the fuck out of here," and they drove away really fast. I wrote a better mugging scene than this in a story. More proof that real life is a bummer.
Today it snowed a little. Maybe it still is snowing a little.
I think that, even if you are a bad hair cutter, you will always be happier with your hair if you cut it yourself. Because you really can't describe to someone how you want it, and haircutters always have their own agenda.
I went to see Howard Zinn speak last weekish. It was good, but not the best I've seen of him. Still really inspiring though. Last night I tried to go to Om but the show was sold out, so we ate at the Ghandi restaurant, which was good. I love ocra.
Speaking of ocra. I'm going to India in august for two weeks. But before that I'm going to Aruba in May, which wont be as good, and before that I'm going to ride my bike somewhere, like Vermont, or Maine (fake nature?), and camp.
Speaking of bikes, on wednesday I'm going to ride to my grandmother's in Natick to mow, which is scary to do because I have to ride on Rt. 9, but not as scary as you'd think. Then I'm going ride to Medway to help my mom cook for Thanksgiving.
Jen makes like five books a day and they are all really beautiful. She is a champion bookmaker. She gives them to Eric and it inspires him to fill them up with short stories and poems. Lets all give her a round of applause.

I live in JP now. It's nice. I work at the Pita Pit in Brookline delivering sandwiches on my bike. So if you like in Brookline or Allston or around there, order a sandwich. If you are my friend and I haven't seen you in a long time pleeeaaase come visit. I live in a giant house with 7 housemates and they are all rad.
I have to work on Halloween :( and I wanted to give out candy. IIIIIIII want to go to Boris tonight but I have no money. That's all the bad news though.
Last night I went to this lantern festival where everyone lit lanterns and walked around Jamaica Pond and it was crazy looking. There were lots of little kids dressed up as animals there.
I saw the Darjeeling Limited, which was good. Uhhhhh.
I don't have as much to say as I usually do.
Also, this is pretty funny:
FEMA Admits It Held Fake Press Conference about California Wildfires; FEMA Staffers Posed as Journalists
On Tuesday, FEMA staged a fake press conference with agency staffers posing as news reporters. One FEMA staffer who pretended to be a journalist has since been promoted to become head of public affairs at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

Swimming is so good.

BOSTON (AP) -- Nine blinking electronic devices planted at bridges and other spots in Boston threw a scare into the city Wednesday in what turned out to be a marketing campaign for a late-night cable cartoon. At least one of the devices depicts a character giving the finger. Highways, bridges and a section of the Charles River were shut down and bomb squads were sent in before authorities declared the devices were harmless.
"It's a hoax _ and it's not funny," said Gov. Deval Patrick.
Turner Broadcasting, parent company of Cartoon Network, said the devices were part of a promotion for the TV show "Aqua Teen Hunger Force."

One of the most dangerous ways homosexuality invades family life is through popular music. Parents should keep careful watch over their children's listening habits, especially in this Internet Age of MP3 piracy.

"Condoms don't belong in school, and neither does Al Gore. He's not a schoolteacher," said Frosty Hardison, a parent of seven who also said that he believes the Earth is 14,000 years old. "The information that's being presented is a very cockeyed view of what the truth is. ... The Bible says that in the end times everything will burn up, but that perspective isn't in the DVD."

Ernest Hemingway commited suicide using a shotgun purchased from Abercrombie and Fitch, which at the time was a sporting goods store. Now they are owned by the worlds most unethical corporation (slave laborers and animal torturers, Proctor & Gamble) and hire people based on their good looks.

I guess I was near like five people getting murdered on monday night? I quit my job, which is quite liberating, even if it means subsisting on rice and beans for a little while until I can find some better way to make money. Life? hmm lets see. Lots of reading. Listening to crushing jamz. I cleaned my room yesterday. If Sam WB is reading this plz call me, I have a Christmas present for you + want to hang out.
I just found out that I got good grades last semester, minus a D in one class, which was a silly class anyway. Next semester I'm taking an online class, which is supposed to be for a masters program??? Intense.
I got a bunch of books for christmas that I am psyched to read.
Sometimes I wish some famous people weren't dead. And some non-famous people too.
